IfaaContemporary, a mobile gallery which includes a Collectors hub, is an extension of IFAA Art Platform whose main focus is to present the Thamgidi Foundation Contemporary Art and Design Collection and special projects, group and solo exhibitions by internationally renowned artists who have participated in IFAA projects since 2008.

IfaaContemporary also supports emerging talent and promotes the very best in contemporary art & design from around the globe as well as being presented in IfaaCity, IfaaRegional and IfaaGlobal major projects. Through a collaboration with Art, Books en Wine, IfaaContemporary maintains a mobile – pop cultural hub. The mobile cultural hub is presented in different cities where IFAA major projects take place. Through the support of Thamgidi Foundation, IfaaContemporary partners with major institutions around the world to co-produce exhibitions, including the production of and co-financing publications for the artists presented in our Gallery. The major 2013 partnership was with Festival d’Avignon 2013 for the production of Kiripi Katembo’s solo exhibition and catalogue. Aside from this, IFAA also takes part in Art fairs, among them Art Vilnius and Kolnerliste.
IfaaContemporary presents a rich diversity of art and design with artists whose works have been exhibited in major art platforms like: Documenta, Venice Biennale, Dakart Biennale, Havana biennale including major museums world-wide.
Artists presented in IfaaContemporary have won many prestigious prizes both in biennales and major international projects. Most of IfaaContemporary artists’ works are collected worldwide by major institutions, museums, and private collectors. The IFAA Collectors’ Hub, is an exclusive club that brings together collectors with heart. The collector’s Hub is for art collectors who genuinely are interested in collecting contemporary for the love of qualitative artworks in a way that enables the growth of artists away from the commercially driven sales, focused on gain. The IFAA Collector’s HUB enables the collectors to build real relationships with artists, including opportunities to visit artists studios, exhibition previews/openings and taking part in IFAA projects. Members of the IFAA Collectors HUB have the opportunity to become Patrons and ART Angels. The benefits of being an IFAA Patron and Artist Angel includes VIP invitations to IFAA events, Studio visits and artworks that are given as a thank you for supporting the arts.
